My name is Michael, and I’d like to personally thank you for taking the time to stop by.

Our family has always shared a deep passion for animals. In 2005, Shelly and I founded Wag Watchers after struggling to find personal, family-like care for our own beloved pets, Chewy and Stitch, whenever we were away from home.

For us, a pet resort or kennel simply wasn’t an option.
The risks of stress-induced illness, the potential trauma of an unfamiliar environment, and the awkwardness of imposing on family, friends, or neighbors—along with their last-minute changes in availability—made us realize there had to be a better solution.

As lifelong pet lovers, we understand that pets are much more than just animals—they’re deeply cherished members of the family. Their unique quirks, playful habits, and loving personalities make them irreplaceable, completing the family circle. The unconditional love they offer creates bonds that are truly unbreakable. This profound connection was the inspiration behind Wag Watchers.
